The oldest performing dance group in DeKalb County, the company is presenting its 57th season February 5 at 7:30 pm and February 6 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm in the theatre at St. Pius High School. Recording over 11 themed albums since the early 70's and performing over 110 shows a year, George Winston is an internationally acclaimed pianist. His melodic, spare and under-stated styles are a cross between traditional American folk and instrumental pop/R&B that he calls Rural Folk Piano, stride jazz, and New Orleans R&B piano. It seems that winter workouts in dry air, both indoors and outdoors, wreak havoc on skin. Jazzercise gives these suggestions: Take shorter showers. No more than 10 minutes to keep your skin from drying out. When you exit the shower, apply lotion immediately. Switch facial cleansers. Use a creamy cleanser instead of a gel cleanser during the winter. Run a humidifier. Apply hand cream liberally. Drink water. When it’s cool outside, we often drink fewer fluids, which results in chapped lips. Try to drink 8-10 glasses of water per day. Moisturize pre-workout.
